The usual problem is that the battery contact is only held in contact with a further
Contact, that goes to the motor, and any battery leakage causes corrosion and an
electrical contact is lost. However, the region of overlap is hidden and is not apparent.
Remove the hollow rivet and take the shiny metal strips out. Clean them and find a
replacement for the rivet this should solve the problem. Watch how the gear wheels
come out, carefully, they fit back in in several ways but only one way works.
